Ken has led the EM DevCo programme since 2018, when Government asked the Midlands Engine to bring forward plans for a delivery body following a government announcement last year. The programme looks at opportunities in Toton & Chetwynd; Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station; and East Midlands Airport. There are large number of stakeholders and local authority partners and three core commissions to set out a vision and narrative; strategic and economic case; and a route map to formation.

Ken is an experienced development and regeneration professional and Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Previous experience includes LCR Ltd, which is a commercial developer owned by DfT with a track record of leading the delivery of homes, jobs and investment around complex transport-linked land and property assets. He also worked at Solihull on plans behind the Urban Growth Company at ‘UK Central Hub’ incorporating Jaguar Land Rover, Birmingham Airport, NEC, the HS2 Interchange site, and various areas in between.
